Dr. Ammar Bajbuj is a Syrian academic and researcher originally from the city of Daraa in southern Syria. He holds a PhD in Law and a Master’s degree in Human Rights from the University of London – The School of Advanced Study, University of London. He is a prominent scholar in the fields of law and politics in Britain.
Dr. Bajbuj currently teaches at the Department of War Studies at King’s College London, and has previously collaborated with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and the Strategic Network on Justice, Conflict and Development.
He has contributed to several research projects related to transitional justice, post-conflict reconciliation, forced migration, and refugee integration in the UK. Dr. Bajbuj is also a consultant for humanitarian organizations, including New Citizens’ Gateway, which supports refugees and asylum seekers across the United Kingdom.
